“Clean
Out Your Freezer” for Charity
Hunters are invited to donate their frozen, wrapped and
processed game at Clean Out Your Freezer Day on
Friday-Sunday, August 6-9 @ Reliant Center
in
conjunction with the TTHA Hunter’s Extravaganza.
Volunteers from Hunters’ Harvest will collect donations of
venison, hog, dove, quail, pheasant, exotics, ducks, geese and
fish. Food collected will be go to Victory
Home, Open Door Mission and Youth-Reach Houston.
Hunters’ Harvest, a
non-profit 501c3 organization, is a group of people that
utilize their skill, expertise and love of hunting and
fishing to feed hungry people served by Houston area
non-profit organizations. Since February 2005, Hunters’
Harvest has provided 100,000 lbs. of wild game and fish to
organizations across Texas. Tax receipts will be provided
for all donations.
